No drive belts here
Unlike almost every other side by side on the market, no Pioneer uses a belt driven CVT. Honda runs three different transmissions across the line:
- Pioneer 500 and 520 automatic clutch manual gearbox with paddle shift
- Pioneer 700 torque converter automatic, the same engine and transmission family as the Honda Rincon ATV
- Pioneer 1000 six speed dual clutch transmission
So if you came here looking for a drive belt, you do not need one. If you are shopping engine or driveline parts, know which model you have, because none of these three share internals.
