Any crankcase pressure directly reduces maximum power, so we had to take this into consideration given the proximity of our chosen catch can location. Our solution was to lengthen the hose from the valve cover to the catch can itself. Anyone with a basic physics understanding knows that as hose length increases, so does the resistance to flow. Rather than go the easy route of supplying the same ID hose, we had a custom-made hose that increased the diameter of the hose for most of the run from the valve cover to the catch can.
