The Vortex ECU is like a CDI and EFI Interceptor rolled into one module, controlling spark timing, voltage output, fuel mapping, and other engine management functions. The result is more power, better power, easier starting, and faster lap times. It comes pre-programmed with 10 performance fuel and spark maps, plus 3 switches for user trimming of fuel in low, mid, and high throttle openings.

It plugs directly into the bike's standard harness and interfaces with all the stock engine sensors (ECT, IAT, MAP, TPS, CPS) to adjust fuel and spark for optimum power in all weather, altitude, and load conditions. The "Power" settings bring top-end power and bottom-end throttle response, and the "Traction" settings give a smoother, more rideable delivery. Extensive development work improves starting and nearly eliminates the flameouts some EFI bikes suffer.
