✓ How to Choose
- Stock rebuild: A 102mm standard-bore piston brings a tired motor back to life. Best when your cylinder still measures in spec and just needs a hone.
- Big bore: Going over on bore (104mm and up) adds displacement and power, but your cylinder has to be bored to match, or you run a big-bore cylinder.
- Compression: Higher-compression pistons wake up throttle response and power, but the higher you go the more they demand race fuel or a blend. Pump-gas builds should stay in the moderate range.

✓ What a Piston Kit Includes
Most kits come with the piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips. You'll still want fresh top-end gaskets (head gasket, base gasket, cam chain), and a big-bore piston means machine work to bore and hone the cylinder to your new size. Not sure what your build needs?
