The Yamaha YZ65 was introduced in 2018 as Yamaha's first youth 65cc 2-stroke motocross bike, and it's been in continuous production through 2026 (the current model year as of November 17, 2025). There are no major redesigns—the engine (65cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke with YPVS), chassis, and suspension have remained consistent across all years. This means parts are 100% interchangeable from 2018 to 2026, including crankshafts, cylinders, levers, and gaskets. Minor updates are cosmetic (graphics, colors) or tuning-based, but core components share the same OEM part numbers (e.g., crankshaft: 5XE-11400-00-00).
