Wiseco Black Edition pistons take the proven forged Wiseco platform and add a full ArmorX and ArmorGlide treatment package built for the abuse a big-bore twin sees in the dunes, in the rocks, and under boost. The ArmorX coating is applied electrochemically to the crown, ring grooves, and pin bore, which is exactly where a hard-run machine starts to give up first under sustained high cylinder pressure. The ArmorFit skirt profile adjusts itself to the cylinder wall as the engine comes up to temperature, so you get a quiet, correctly clearanced fit without chasing a measurement on the bench. Dedicated ring packs handle compression and oil control, augmented ring lands keep the seal honest, and the dome is shaped to move flame across the chamber efficiently instead of just raising a number on paper. Everything drops into an OEM cylinder head with no machining. Forged and finished in the U.S.A.
